Sharing your photographs on a blog

This is with a App called photobucket and with the photobucket website.

The above photographs are a collection of photograph from each wedding which I was involved in - some were uploaded from the mobile App which I wrote about here.

You may already have started a blog about your wedding and this would be a way to put all your photographs onto this blog.

The photographs could be made into collections -

1) The shopping for dress collection
2) The trying on of the suit
3) The maids of honour
4) The........

The possibilities are endless and are dependent on how much you want to share - enjoy.

Sharing your photographs - another idea

Ann and Paul's Wedding day
Previously on this blog I have written about sharing your photographs instantly using any number of different social medias and a polaroid camera.

Another way that I have found is that you could have your digital photographs printed inside a book.

Click here to view this photo book larger

The photographs above are of our trip to Japan and it serves as a lovely special memento - you could do the same with your digital photographs which are on the Internet already or on your hard drive.

Happy Anniversaries

This may be a little premature but what the heck - get a deal with the place that you are going to get married if you return there again. Having dinner at Panwa House at Cape Panwa Hotel.

Happy Anniversary Sam and Pete.

The first dinner - the setting

This is an event which does bear thinking about -
how about this dinner on the beach like this?

Before the sunset and candles around the table (set in the sand) were lit - beautiful.

Making an entrance

The entrance is an important moment for any wedding and I have had my fair share of things which have gone wrong but here is one from the 'Mashable' site that I was sent last week.

I will stick with the music and a gentle walk...

Wedding Cake Toppers

image from Mashable
For many people this may not seem important but for some it is.

Zoe and Olly had a special cake topper of a Groom with boxing gloves on and sporting a black eye because he had a Thai Boxing fight the night before!

Have you thought about it?

Secrets

Shelly and Huw

The wonder of the Wedding Ceremony is that you can have secrets from one another or you can have secrets with each other from the guests.

Where would you like to start?

 ideas:
  1) arrive on a fisherman's longtailed boat
  2) throw a bouquet of flowers - which is 5 smaller bouquets
  3) the elephant arrives (great if you have children guests)
  4) they wouldn't be secrets if you shared them...

The speeches - the Maid of Honour

The speeches are a part of the celebrations which are either enjoyed or are a scary bit to worry about.

But have some fun - she did!

The Words

Just written some words with Zoe and Callum and I was moved with the number of people who commented to me regards the words that we used

I understand that the key to this is the discussions that you have with the bride and groom - make the ceremony mean something to the people listening - well in my experience this has been successful for me.

The ultimate wedding bouquet

We all know the tale of catching the bride's bouquet and then you will be the next to be married.

BUT what do you do when there are a handful of ladies which are attending your ceremony and you know that they would all like to get married. What do you do?

Throw three bouquets at the same time - carefully change or add to your bouquet (in secret) before you add it - Put did!!

Gifts for your Wedding Guests

During the times that I have managed and been a celebrant for weddings I have certainly seen a great number of gifts which the bride and groom have given their wedding party.

Last week Janet and Keith met us again at Cape Panwa Hotel to celebrate their tenth anniversary and now Janet has nore to share with us. Would you like to give a gift to eveyone who attends your special day?

I was lucky enough to take part in Janet and Keith's Buddhist Wedding 10 years ago - one specific thing that they remember of me is that I was wearing odd socks!

Polaroid photographs

This was not my idea!

This was Anna and Tim's - (see above).

 1) Get a polaroid camera - their's was purchased through eBay
 2) Make a list of all the groups / couples
 3) Find a reliable person
 4) Take 'polaroid photographs' of each couple
 5) Stick photographs in the 'signing book'.

Congratulations.

Facebook, friends and create a group

image from timinphuket-weddings
Okay we may have our reservations about facebook BUT many of our friends (and me) use it. Well this is the simplest way that I have found to collect your friends photographs together.

Create a group (for example) - and invite those people who are friends to join the group - you are unable to manage this.

Enjoy your wedding and ask your friends to up load to here.
